Andrew R. Long – Principal
Andrew Long owns and operates one of the most well respected and successful Atlanta based independent government relations firms in the State of Georgia – A. R. Long Company. Andrew is an expert in establishing a credible presence at the Georgia State Capitol, a veteran lobbyist with cunning knowledge of the Georgia General Assembly’s legislative process and a master of innovation in the art of relationship development on a federal, state and local level.
Andrew currently represents The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change, Mercedes-Benz, USA, Clark Atlanta University, City of South Fulton, GA and Pure Storage: A Modern Data Experience. Andrew provides firm partners with an innovative solution-based approach to solving some of the most complex legislative issues and creates custom annual legislative agendas to assist with achieving immediate and long-term government relations objectives. A. R. Long Company specializes in lobbying, executive consulting, strategic communications, procurement navigation, business development, local government, public policy and regulatory issues as well as crisis management. Andrew leverages his vast experience and political capital to provide access to Georgia’s Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches, Secretary of State, Attorney General, State Agencies and Departments, local governments as well as political party leadership to deliver comprehensive results on behalf of his firm partners.
A native of Atlanta, Andrew is a proven leader in Georgia business and politics with over 15 years of executive experience and has been acknowledged by James Magazine as one of Georgia’s Top Lobbyist. Andrew is a double graduate of Georgia State University earning an Executive MBA and B.A. in Political Science. He is a proud member of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and serves on The Atlanta Opera Board of Directors. Andrew and his beautiful wife LaTonia reside in Cobb County, GA and love spending time with their two amazing children.
Anna Edmondson, Esq. – Lobbyist
Anna brings 7 years of multidisciplinary state government experience, having worked for the Georgia General Assembly in various bipartisan capacities and also in focusing her undergrad and law school studies on state and local government law and public policy. With 5 legislative sessions under her belt, this year she was recognized as a “Rising Star” in Georgia’s lobbying field by James Magazine.
She began her professional career staffing the Senate State and Local Government Operations Committee where she assisted local governments and stakeholders on local legislative process. Here, she also assisted in the creation of public safety legislation and became proficient at managing and resolving constituent concerns. Now, Anna’s work primarily involves assisting clients in procurement goals and maintaining communications for clients involving municipality organization and development legislation. Her legal work has primarily been focused on assisting in litigation involving federal and state government agencies, environmental law, and administrative law.
